Following the principles of the previous Scorpio Stabilized Head; the design of the new gyros, new mechanics, and new software allows this head to be faster, easier to use, and more effective.

Faster:

  • Pan axis revolutions: 360º in 3 seconds with HD slip rings to allow fast movements when following the action.
  • The new design that has the axis sliding through bars allows to adjust the size of the head quickly.
  • All the connections, covers, and movements are protected by water allowing the ability to work under humidity or rain without a rain cover for the head.

Easier:

  • New method of control allows more stability on a drift and allows the ability to easily maintain the horizon with the new real horizon function.

  • The main thing in a Stabilized Head is the level of Stabilization. The New Scorpio Stabilized Head incorporates new mechanics and electronics designed to detect a large range of frequencies of vibrations and with enough speed to correct faster than other heads.
